Whisky Magazine Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich heavy, shows maturity. Floral notes (violet/pot pourri) and spices (ginger, allspice, nutmeg, candied peels). Oily; floor polish, sandalwood.
Palate: Lively. Fruit, sweet spices and oak pool in the centre. Big with a silky/oily mouthfeel.
Finish: Cocoa butter. Long.
Comment: A cracker, typical of old (and older style Speysides)
